Dear Family,
So I'm not quite freaking out yet. This morning I did pull out my suitcases. I've held myself back because my companion says it's trunky and she stuggles with homesickness a lot already. What I found out though is that she partially just doesn't want my suitcases laying in the middle of our floor for a week. No promises, but I am trying to at least keep them out of the way. I just couldn't stop my brain from wondering if everything will fit, so I decided it's better to find out now rather than later. I'm almost positive that it will fit. I have done a really good job not being a pack rat. Shocker, I know. Any extra boxes i've had as I've gone from area to area have been bathroom junk, and food. Both of which a majority, if not all, will stay here for whoever wants it. I didn't feel bad at all though about pulling my suitcases out when I found out that Sister Naulu has already packed everything as of a week ago. And she's the most reluctant missionary to go home. She just so focused and LOVES missionary work. But she didn't want to worry about packing anymore, so she just did it.
Anyway, this week has been AWESOME! We've found 3 investigators this week. Two of them are husband and wife and the other one is a 15yr old girl who gets an unofficial seminary lesson every day at lunch from her friends. We're not sure how sincere she is, but we have hopes! The couple are actually former investigators. The husband Sal has 3 kids who have joined the church as well as his mom. She actually passed away about a month or two ago and it has really softened his heart so he showed up at church two sundays ago. Don't you just LOVE IT when that happens? So to make a long story short, the work has decided to explode again just as I am leaving. Lol. And we're gonna get at least 2-3 new investigators this week too. Sister Anderson is gonna have so many investigators she's not gonna know what to do with them all!
As for Ayla's baptism, it was amazing! There were enough people there that they had to move it into the chapel. She's got a great YSA ward to support her. I got to see so many people that I LOVE, too! The Linfords, Bro. Rowley, Pres. Bradshaw, and more. I loved it. Even better, we had Kayla go to the baptism with us. She enjoyed it, but she is disappointed that she can't get baptized yet due to some past things she needs to take care of. But I know that she will. :-)
Let's see....
Mom- I 'm glad you got the package and the picture. Sorry it took so long to send it. I'm glad you liked it!
To those who sent the letters at the the request of Sister White, Thank you. They made me get teary and made me feel really good and so thankful for how blessed I am to have a family as great as you. I already knew that, but I like being reminded. I appreciate and love you all so much.
Also, just for the record, I will have one more emailing session next Monday. Sister Anderson still has to email so I'll have a chance to hear from you all one more time before I see/hear from most of you on Tuesday, and I'll write one more email. Probably like my testimony or something. If I rememeber and am not distracted by telling you all about the awesome new investigators we are going to get this week. And the awesome lessons we aready have scheduled for this week.
Hmm... Oh, something ironic. So when i came out on the mission, President and Sister Ellsworth were brand new to the field. I was like the 2nd group to be picked up at the airport by them. And now here I am at the end. President and Sister Ellsworth are halfway through their missions. And then there's Elder and Sister White. I haven't known them for most of my mission, but go figure that they are on their way home right now. So. President and Sister Ellsworth came out with me. And Elder and Sister White are leaving with me. How unique.
Ok. I have 10 minutes to write to President now. I love you all. See you in a week!
Love, Me
